The Florida Life

So...its been awhile!....I recently started to clean my inbox and came across a very old email someone (who i have never met) wrote about how they liked my blog and that I should keep it up and so so....and so....here I am.

Where am I? Well I moved. Yup...bought a manufacturing company in Florida...packed...and moved. I am my own Boss now...it has its up and downs....MOSTLY ups. Parents and family visit once in awhile...but till we sell the Subway in Boston...its just me. Which is good...being alone makes a man do things he would never had done...for instance...go to the gym twice a day haha...learn how to cook (no not a professional).

And a lot has happened since the last blog....Boston Strong...Malaysian Airlines...engagements...births...so much to tell...so little space. No I don't want to make this a long post. Just a short simple one announcing my return...........I hope :/.

Florida is great. Sunshine everyday...Rain from 2-4pm...like clockwork really. I live about 30 minutes north of the Airport...its a nice area...clean...respectful...barely any crimes. The apartment is near a major road that has about 200 places to eat; being hungry is never in the routine. The food here is absolutely amazing and fresh. The BBQ joints are mouth watering....probably why I have to go to the gym so often. But you can definitely notice the difference in food.

I do miss Boston. It was and will always be my home. I try to fly up every month or so to see everyone, but its hard to coordinate with everyone. Its at that point in our lives where work, family, and prior obligations consumes the life. The worst part is leaving. Waiting at the airport...checking the JetBlue app to see when my next trip to Boston will be; not fun...I was never a Good-Bye person.

I have managed to buy a set of golf clubs. Used them twice and now they occupy a special place in my closet. Work has been hectic lately that luxuries have been put on hold. The company is going through an ISO audit, so much of my time is involved with paperwork. After the certification, I plan on planting a hundred trees due to all the paper I have printed for this ISO.

Well I have a meeting in a few...I will think of topic for the next blog. Again, I don't know how many of  you read this...or how far the readers come from. But thank you :)

The Future

A friend told me to delete a blog post that I wrote in February because I wrote about a girl that I used to like and how much she meant to me. I personally fell I shouldn't have to. I mean...that was a long time ago. I just wrote it cause I wanted to.

So for everyone out there....I am single....I am not tied down to anyone. If anything....that blog should show you what I am capable of doing. That was a phase...we grow out of phases. Everyone went through it...I just put it down on words.

The Society Dictates

Not saying the I regret everything that I did in the past, but there are certain events, decisions, and judgements I regret making. But because its in the past now, I cant really do anything about it. It doesn't mean that I don't think about it. Yes, every thing that happens in the past was meant to be and will lead to something better, but we as humans can't always have that mentality. Don't get me wrong, I'm not being bitter or dwelling on the past, but sometimes I wish I had done things differently.

As events unfold in the present, I can't help but think that maybe these certain events would have happened differently you know? I understand I'm just babbling. For example, career choice. I'm happy that I did what I did in college, but maybe if I had pushed myself a little harder, pushed myself to think about the future, then I wouldn't be in the position that I am. Maybe if I had been more confident and open during college, I could've known more people and maybe, just maybe would have been dating someone. No no, this is not about me dating someone right now or anything like that. It's just that because I'm 26 (I know I have time, I know that I'm young), I could have had someone stable. Only cause the Indian community makes me feel old, they dictate that I should be with someone, if not I'm old and not worth being with.

What sucks in our Indian community is that even the littlest thing dictate our lives. Yes you wouldn't believe it, the caste of religion, the last name, the town your parents are from...all that matters in my community. Yes it's retarded, but thats what Society says, thats how it has to be done. When I was in high school, I had a crush on this girl, she was beautiful, funny and just had a great personality, but I couldn't make a move because my parents would never accept that. And the way I lived life is that the woman I date, is the woman I want to be with forever. There's nothing wrong with dating, but I just wanted to date someone who I could see myself be with for a long time. And I got the opportunity twice, and I have no regrets. I have learned and become stronger, mature, and wiser from both the relationships. Both ended in the not so greatest way, and it does break my heart. The first woman is married now, and the second is on her way to that step. And I am very happy for them.

Many who know me know that I cannot see through my left eye because of an unfortunate accident I had when I was four years old. And I'm over it, I've approached life so people wouldn't see me differently. I didn't want handouts, and I certainly did not want people to be sorry for me. My parents made sure to treat me like a normal kid so I wouldn't dwell on this. And yes, word did travel through our indian community. For a long time, and even to some people today, I am that kid who cant see in my left eye. So, now...when my parents are helping me find a spouse through the indian community, many of them will say no just because of my left eye (yes very shallow and I shouldn't be with people like that). But again, what if that didn't happen? My parents wouldn't be so worried about me finding someone. I wouldn't be so conscience when taking pictures, in fact, I'd be in a lot more pictures :). Being blind in my left eye has scarred me physically, but now even mentally. But I blame anyone; I mean I understand that every parent wants their child to be with someone who is in tact. And let's be realistic, physical attraction is very important in the beginning. Looks do go away, so yes to find someone based on personality is important. But how can you approach someone and get to know their personality without being physically attracted to them. I hope I'm making sense.

I guess what really bugs me is that I have to limit the people who I can be with. Love happens at any time with any person. But to live life with restrictions is not living life at all. We should be able to love and be with anyone we want. Why the limits? Why the restrictions? It all comes down to what society says really. And it sucks, but thats how it's done. I've accepted the fact that what's its going to be like up until I finally do find someone. Yes there are some who not so shallow and who can see beyond that, but where are they? If you're reading this, please contact me :).

I feel there are two things that are running against me from time to time...my eye and my last name. The people in my community know me for my accident and sometimes say no or feel sorry for me, and the people not directly related to my community say no cause we don't have the same last name. But hell with that, I am who I am. I am proud of what I did in my past. I became an Electrical Engineer. Although at times I may look lazy, but I have held a job ever since I was 15. I am willing to prove to any woman I am worth it. I am 26 and am soon starting my own business. I am good at what I do. I don't stop till I become the best at what I do. But those are my words; now if only I can get a chance to show that to the people who I want to be with haha.

At the end of day though, family is important. They've been their for you day in day out. Provided for you and sat by your side during the good and bad times. So I can understand why their words mean the world to them. I respect that, and I would never do anything that would make her go against her parents, but I would ask for an opportunity to show that I can be better and greater than anyone.

This is in no way a cry or some sad blog or anything. Just something I wanted to share with everyone. Don't hate me if I had offended anyone, these are just some of the things that have happened in my life. Thank you for reading.

The Meaning Of Life

What is the meaning of life? Why were we put on earth and given the ability to exist in this world? Why are we people and why are dogs just dogs? How is that we can feel all these emotions without control? What makes us...us? How do we live life?

So many questions and no definite answer. Everyone approaches these questions with different meaning and understanding of life. What is mine? I don't know. What is yours?

Some people all together just avoid thinking about it and just live...some contemplate. I live mine one day at a time...hope for good things...make some goals. Search for answers. I don't know. There has to be more than just this. I just don't know.

The Way It Should Have Been Done

I don't know if I'll ever post this particular blog. It may just sit on my page and never surface to the real world. We'll see.

The way it should have been done.

When she asks you to walk with her...you go...don't think twice....just go...thats the way it should be done.

When she calls you because she's feeling lonely and just wants you to be there...you drop everything you're doing and run to her side...thats the way it should be done.

When she says she wants to spend some time with you...watch a movie...or just talk....you accept and plan a night out with her...thats the way it should be done.

When she's upset because the whole night you didn't dance with her at the club, you make sure the next time you all go out you dance with her like you've never danced before...and don't care who will be watching...thats they way it should be done.

When she's having a rough week because of work or school...just be there...hold her...hug her...kiss her...and smile...thats the way it should be done.

When you're driving home...stop and pick up flowers for her...just because its a Thursday...thats way it should be done.

When she wants to go somewhere...no matter where...you go...because it doesn't matter where you go...it's who you go with...thats the way it should be done.

When she calls you while you're out...you pick up and she's upset about something...you find a silent place and listen to her...thats the way it should be done.

When she wants to watch a chick-flick...just go...what difference does it make....thats the way it should be done.

When she stops loving you...and wants to be out of the relationship...you let her go....because it makes her happy...no matter how painful it is to you...thats the way it should be done.

The Rut That I Put Myself In

So, I don't know who really reads my blogs and such...but if you're a regular reader than you'll know I don't really talk much about my love life. And if you know me and have spoken to me in person...well than you know what's going on. I apologize if these thoughts are at random places and repetitive...and yes...I am purposely gonna be vague...no names...no instances...just vague thoughts.

I have put myself in a rut. I'm stuck in a place I am familiar with...I've been here before....almost 4 years ago. Not the place I want to be in. But I'm here. What got me here is my stupidity and love...my lack of effort...my lack of paying attention...my lack of brain. And yes, now I'm paying for it even worse than what I went through. I had a very special person in my life...up until I messed things up. I know you're thinking that I'm blaming myself, but I've been doing alot of thinking and realized that alot of the reasons why I'm in this place was because of my immaturity and lack of realization for what I had.

It's true when they say you don't realize what you have till it's gone. But there has to be another saying that will help you get past that point. Beating myself over what happened and what might not happen is killing me day in and day out. It's hitting me that the dreams me and her made will never come true. Yes dreams are dreams... magical fairy tales we want ourselves to be in but can never reach...but there was a point where I could really see them happening. We were building dreams...great dreams...unbreakable dreams (or so I thought)...but now I feel like I am walking in the dust and rubble of the dreams we built.

Yes I'll find someone to make new dreams with...yes I'll find someone to love and care for...yes I'll find someone to marry and live my life with. But it won't be her. We've been through all the low and high points. We've fought many many times but have made up many many times. We've teared for each other and because of each other, but we've also laughed with each and at each other. There were times where she made me mad...furious...so angry I had to leave the room. But I could always see the bigger picture with her...she never had to show it to me...I just saw it.

Her smile and laughter brought me to a place with complete happiness...seeing her smile instantly made me forget why I was mad at her in the first place. Her laughter is contagious...it instantly melts my heart. I could never stay mad at her for more than ten minutes or so. She has that quality in her. I could stare into her eyes and could cry cause they're so beautiful. And most of you know I'm a guy who digs nice hair styles...and she has more than that...her hair bounces and falls so perfectly in the right place. Sometimes I catch myself staring at her without blinking. I'm sure she's caught me looking...I hope she doesn't think I'm a creeper.

She used to do this thing where when she wanted me to do something...she would talk in this soft voice and pout her lip and blink...and I would fall in love with her all over again. I wished I would have told her all this. I guess its too late. And it's hard to even do simple things these days. Every time I see her she looks more beautiful than the previous day. I start noticing things I didn't notice before. Like the way she makes people feel in the room when she walks in. And...whenever she meets someone new...she always hugs or shakes his/her hand with a smile. Always. And she's an amazing dancer. When I first met her...I was so scared to dance with her. Many who know me know I don't dance unless I'm a little tipsy. So, the night before we first ever danced...I actually practiced. I practiced in the shower so I wouldn't make a fool of myself hahahaha. There's so much to her that I could tell you...but you would never know the feeling or experience it if you've never met her. I could talk for days about her...and tell you how much she means to me.

Sometimes I contemplate on whether I should go home after work. That's why I take the longer way now...to delay the painful feeling of being lonely and depressed in my apt without her. When I do get to my apt, I sit in my car and crank up the volume and close my eyes and pretend that everything is gonna be alright between me and her. But somehow reality always kicks in. I open my eyes and turn to the side and realize she's not there. I go upstairs and realize that her smile is no longer there. I look at my phone and realize she hasn't texted or called for hours or days. I realize that now I wont be greeted with her kiss and her "How was your day?" hug. Now it's just me and my room. I miss the things she used to do to show me she cared about me...but more than that...I just miss her warmth...I miss her laughter...I miss her smile...I miss her hugs...I miss her.

I do have friends/family who keep me busy, and tell me everything is gonna be alright. I am more than appreciated of that, these people mean the world to me. But no matter what it is...no matter what I do...it just wont be the same. I can't go up to her and hug her or kiss her randomly. I can't buy her roses anymore. I can't ask her out on a date. I can't enjoy her laughter, smile, and even love. I want too...but I know I can't...cause I had the chance...I had the chance to make all our past memories into stories that we could have told to our children and even grandchildren...and maybe even great-grandchildren....I realize I've ruined it....I messed it up...and ruined it. I can't blame anyone but myself. I just wasn't appreciative enough.

Today's just another day I have to get through. Fight the good fight and see what tomorrow brings. Many people say that although you had a bad day...tomorrow will always be different...somehow I know tomorrow will be just like today. Yes I'm being very negative...but that's what this rut does to you. Puts you in a very negative way. Something I have to live with. Thank you for reading.

The Parent Of Faith Is Hope

"We all have hope. Sometimes, oddly enough, we don't want to admit it--to others or to ourselves--but no matter how bad things get in our lives, we have hope. It's one of the greatest gifts that we've been given, for out of hope come all of our scientific and medical advances -- why even start trying something new if there's no hope for a successful outcome? Hope is what keeps us going on those dark, dark nights in our lives when it seems as if the sun never again will shine, but we have to give hope its due; we have to let its light shine in our lives if it's to do any good. We have to tell ourselves that things will get better, that life will radiate its beauty in our lives once more, if we but let it.

Hope never dies in us, yet often we cover its light, or we cover our ears so that we won't hear it sing its song. But that's like turning off a lamp when we most need its light, or shutting the door on a best friend when we most need company. We were created to be hopeful creatures, to look at the possibilities in the world and in ourselves, yet many of us aren't willing to do so, and we deny that there's even hope in the world, and once we deny the existence of hope, we start living dull, lightless lives that serve no one -- ourselves or those who surround us. To live is to hope, and to hope is to live.

Personally, I remember that even during my darkest depressions, I've always felt the flame of hope, no matter how tiny it seemed to be. The problem was that all of the negative thoughts that were my depression kept arguing against the hope, calling it stupid, telling me that it was unrealistic and unjustified. The hope inside of me was like the one person who is willing to stand up with a voice of reason against a mob, only to be attacked by that mob and left for dead. Thankfully, it didn't die, or I might have.

When the voice of hope speaks inside of you, listen closely. The voice of hope is the voice of God, the voice of all the wonderful people with whom we share this world, the voice of truth and reality. It's those other voices inside of you, the voices of despair and condemnation and hopelessness, that are the liars. Call them what they are, and give them no credence. It's hope that springs eternal. These other things are temporary parts of ourselves that we have to learn to reject, like someone renting our house who not only isn't paying their rent, but who's destroying the house. To restore peace and equilibrium, we have to get rid of the renter and restore the hope of better days to come."

~ C.A. Bartol

The Eleven Hints Of Life

1. It hurts to love someone and not be loved in return. But what is more painful is to love someone and neverfind the courage to let that person know how you feel.

2. A sad thing in life is when you meet someone whomeans a lot to you, only to find out in the end that it wasnever meant to be and you just have to let go.

3. The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on aporch swing with, never say a word, and then walk awayfeeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had.

4. It's true that we don't know what we've got until we loseit, but it's also true that we don't know what we've beenmissing until it arrives.

5. It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone, anhour to like someone, and a day to love someone-but ittakes a lifetime to forget someone.

6. Don't go for looks, they can deceive. Don't go for wealth, even that fades away. Go for someone who makes yousmile because it takes only a smile to make a dark dayseem bright.

7. Dream what you want to dream, go where you want to go,be what you want to be. Because you have only one life andone chance to do all the things you want to do.

8. Always put yourself in the other's shoes. If you feel that ithurts you, it probably hurts the person too.

9. A careless word may kindle strife. A cruel word may wrecka life. A timely word may level stress. But a loving word mayheal and bless.

10. The happiest of people don't necessarily have the bestof everything they just make the most of everything that comesalong their way.

11. Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss, ends witha tear. When you were born, you were crying and everyonearound you was smiling. Live your life so that when you die, you're the one smiling and everyone around you is crying

The New Me

So, this has been a long time coming. Not that it's something that I desperately need to do...but it's something I should have done awhile back. I'm gonna start a new diet plan. I'm gonna be strong and go through with it. I heard about this new diet routine through co-worker and saw results on the website that helps with this diet.

It's a 24-day diet. I read and heard that I can loose up to nine inches if I can follow through with this diet. Its only 24 days. 24 days!...thats four Mondays...four weekends. I can do it. I am hoping to start on November 29th, the day after my 26th birthday. It'll be a good way to show the world a new Junoco. Thinner Junoco. And after this...I could probably fit back into my England shirts and FCUK shirts. Lookout world...the new and sexier Junoco is on its way.

Oh, another thing. I was wondering if you all can be my support system? If you see me eating or about to eat/drink anything unhealthy...please whack it out of my hand and yell, "NO...NOT GOOD". Please....this is all that I ask. Thank you.

The Accident

First of all...let me apologize to the X number of readers....I have no excuse....I just didn't have anything worth sharing...and I've been hiding in my hole for awhile; BUT now I'm back. So here goes....

Monday - September 27th, 7:50am. I'm on my way to work, I'm stopped at the red light right before on the border of  Mattapan (the city I so HATE) and Milton (a city with tons of money and huge houses). I don't know why they put these two city next to each other. The household incomes are probably on both ends of the spectrum, I don't know. But anyway, I've been driving down this road for almost 3 years now. Down the same road...5 days a week. And that day was no different....although it had been raining so the roads were wet, BUT not terrible. The light turns green and I started to accelerate at the normal rate any normal human being drives. Mind you, I'm on the main road, which has about three other lanes on it. This intersection is a major intersection. Two roads from my right join into one and merge into my lane. Two roads from my left join and merge into the other lane...so this is no ordinary intersection. Let's just say that ALL roads don't always lead to Rome...some actually lead to Milton hahaha.

I'm driving straight, when all of a sudden this Nissan Versa, (you know the tiny dinky kind) pulls out in front of me, and before I know it my hands are on the horn and I slammed the brakes. Unfortunately it was too late. My car had already slammed into hers. I check myself for any major injuries. Head = check, Neck = check, Arms and Legs = check and check. I look in the mirror to see any blood, no blood = check! I pulled to the side of the street and got out of the car. Its raining like the monsoon seasons in India right about now, so I went back in to the car to grab my umbrella and then realized the woman is still chilling in her car. What happens if she drives off cause clearly it was her fault (which I will explain later). So I grabbed my camera and quickly took a picture of her licence plate.

I get back out and approach the vehicle, she rolls down the window and asks if I need an ambulance, which I denied at the time. She shuts the window and starts talking on the phone again. So I wait, trying to calm myself down so I can converse with her in a proper manner, just in case I say something I'll regret. She gets out the car and this is how the dialog went (mind you...these are not EXACT words):

Woman: "So what happened? Did you blow the red light?"
Me: Frustrated that she is accusing me straight off the bat. "No, impossible, I was stopped at the red light. I started to drive when the light turned green."
W: Smirks. "The impossible, I had a green."
Me: "The impossible for two different lanes that are not opposing each other to have green lights."
W: "Well all I know is that I had the green light."
Me: "Ummm...OK....what road were you driving from before you tried to merge onto mine?"
W: "I was coming from that way." As she points in the direction I was coming from.
Me: That's impossible, I was coming down that road, and I was the first one at the light and all the way on the right lane. How could you have been on the same road as me? It's physically impossible for our cars to have hit the way it did if you were coming from that road. You were coming from that road" As I point in the direction with the most disgusting look on my face.
W: "Oh wait...you're right. But all I know is that I had a green."
Me: "Regardless of whatever you had. When you're merging onto a major road, you have to look and yield for us because we have the right of way. I was on the major road"

I'm going to break away from the dialog to quote you from the Driver's Manual found on the Massachusetts website.
Intersection of Single or Two-Lane Road and Multiple-Lane Road
"If you are on a single or two-lane road and come to an intersection with a divided highway
or a roadway with three or more lanes, you must yield the right-of-way." (http://www.mass.gov/rmv/dmanual/driversmanual.pdf Pg.73)

Back to the dialog.
W: "OK well I don't want to argue so can I get your information."
Me: "Sure" We exchanged information. She got back in her car to write down my stuff and walks back out after she gets off the phone.
W: "OK well, listen, I guess what I want to say is that I forgive you."
Me: This is where I lost my cool. Who is she to accuse me AGAIN. She's good with words...but my mom taught me better. "Dude, you have GOT to be joking right now. What exactly are you forgiving me for...for HITTING me and ruining my freaking day. Listen, you know that book that you're suppose to read before you get your license, well read it. Cause I don't care what you say to your insurance company. The physics will tell the truth."
W: "What do you mean physics. What are you an engineer or something?"
Me: "Well yes I am, I'm an Electrical Engineer, the worst kind you would ever want to piss off and hit."
W: "Right, well...I don't want to argue with you so I'm waiting for my husband."
Me: "Well I don't care, I have your shit so I'm gonna head to the Police Department and fill out a report."
W: "OK."
Me: "Peace, hahaha you're forgiving me...that's shitting hilarious."

So that's how the conversation went. I couldn't believe this woman was serious. She actually believes she's not at fault. I guess we'll have to see what happens. All the paper work has been handed in to the proper people. I even included the hospital forms. Oh I forgot to mention, my back started to hurt on my way to work right after the accident, so I went to the ER room and they said I have a lumbar sprain because I tensed up right before the accident. I still have some pain...but not as painful as before.

I forgot to mention, somewhere in between this dialog, I went back and showed what she was suppose to do when merging onto a major road. I showed her how I was driving, and then I pointed to where she was coming. And then I pointed to what she was SUPPOSE to do. And all she could say is that she had a green light. Ya good luck with that one dumb-ass.

I hope this woman gets whats coming for her. They should make her take the test again cause she obviously sucks at driving. What's worse is that I was being really nice to her up until she wanted to "forgive me". I have never been so pissed off. She thought she was way to smooth with her words...WELL YOU KNOW WHAT LADY....you don't mess with me WOMAN. I've watched WAY to many episodes of Law and Order to know what you were doing. And You think I wasn't going to argue back...man...you should def. meet my mom.

The Newborn

I'm going to get straight to the point, therefore this post might not be as long as the others. I recently became an uncle to one of cousin sister's newborn. My niece is one of the most beautiful looking baby out there. She's got rosey cheeks, eye lashes that make other eye-lashes look bad and her eyes...oh damn her eyes are like two black pearl-diamonds (I know pearl-diamonds don't exist but they do now). I can't imagine what it must have felt like for them to see and hold their child (obviously exciting and  an huge sense of love), but for me it was the most exciting moment of my life. I looked at her and it brought a smile to my face. Just talking about her to my friends puts smiles on my face.

I got to hold her and bond with her...you know...uncle-niece bonding. We talked...well mostly I did but I'm sure she understood. We talked about life, some of the things life has to offer. You know general stuff like that. And Yes...we did have the no-boys talk. I think we had a mutual understanding. And then I feel deep into her pearl-diamond eyes and started to realize on what my responsibilities are...as an uncle. I looked at my current uncle relationship and found out that I am pretty much friends with him. I feel like I can go up to him and tell him about anything, let it be money problems, girl problems, and just normal general stuff our generation tend to tell our closest friends first. And that's how I want to be with my niece. I want to be the "Cool" uncle. The one who brings like candy and other cool stuff every time I come over. I can be that uncle. I know I can......ya...I'm gonna be a cool uncle.

Ponder: When was the last time you sat down and thought about something and smiled?

The Comments

So I realise its been awhile since I've updated my blog...well better late than never. This blog isn't going to be a story, or an event that I attended, or the musical that I pretended I was in costarring Priyanka Chopra. This blog will consist of me commenting on some things....random things.

+ Today, Levenger, the fancy version of Staples emailed me a "Recipe of Success" guide. I figured....AWESOME....I want to be successful and these guys have the Recipe, this is an awesome way to start my day. I got all hyped up and dreaming about my success; dreaming about my yachts, cars, many houses in different countries, and of course all the parties. This is so freaking awesome! SO I click on the fancy italicized link in hopes of seeing my path to Success-land. I am so naive because THERE is NO recipe for success. Levenger thinks that If I buy a fancy pen, with an overpriced notebook that goes in a ridiculously expensive bag, then I am bound to become successful. Well you know what Levenger, the only thing that I will become once I buy you're "Recipe" is in DEBT. How is that successful? It is the opposite of Success. I tell you what, next time you send an email like this, throw in a coupon or something. Or at least lower your prices.

+ Why does the internet think I need another Degree? Why is it that every time I click on something, I get re-directed to another website that explains to me that I need another degree to further myself in life. Isn't my Electrical Engineering degree good enough? Is it not up-to-internet-standards? I mean what the shit, doesn't the internet realize that in order to get another degree, I have to go back to school? Which means I have to dish out more money for tuition, books and other unnecessary fees and blahshit. Ya so thank you Internet for looking out for my future, but I can see right through you like a window with no window. You're like a salesman trying to sell me anything and everything. In you're face Internet, I'm staying where I am. If you want to help me out, throw me a million dollars or something.

+ Two face people are people who should be smacked in the back of the head every time they say something. Let me tell you something you two-face punk ass, if you're going to bad mouth me behind my back then fine, its acceptable. I am no perfect human being so please accept my apologies. I must have done something wrong or said something that may have hurt you...hence the bad mouthing. But seriously, if something is bothering you then come up to me and talk to me about it. Yes, I promise I will be accept you and your complaints and make sure it wont happen again. But if it's something dumb that you're upset about then be ready to be even more "insulted" for your lack of intelligence.

+ Hey there stranger in the big moving van, Hi, how are you? Ya, you see me now? Question, why didn't you use your INDICATOR when you decided to cut across three lines during the morning rush hour? See, if only you used that black lever type of thing that is so strategically placed near the steering wheel, the one where push up to turn left and push down to turn right, then you wouldn't have gotten the ugly hand gesture. Not only did you ruin my Monday morning, but I'm sure you ruined yours too. See, I would have felt some sympathy if you didn't cut across from the far right lane to the left and then back just so you could overtake a SCHOOL BUS! Please accept my apologies World for I should have followed this man and back-handed his face like a perfect back-hand shot down the line in Tennis.

+ To Mr. Jeep SUV that parks in my parking spot every evening. Please find another spot. Every evening I have to come home and find you sitting in my spot, which is something i DO NOT want to see when I'm coming home from work. I wouldn't be upset if it were free parking, which by the way you can find right across the street. See, the reason why I am pissed off is that I PAY for that spot. I pay an X amount of dollars to keep my car parked in that spot and to have it empty when my car isn't there. Thank you for keeping my spot warm...but I would rather have you not be there. How would you like it if you came home and saw me sitting in your favorite chair, eating out of your fridge, and peeing on your toilet seat? Ya, not cool huh...I know. It's a simple respect to the human world, don't use what is not yours without asking. Next time, I will find a spot for you at the tow company lot...nice and cozy!

Question to Ponder: Every successful love story has a broken heart. A love story consist of two love filled heart and one broken heart.

The Letter

To the Woman who crossed the street this morning,

I am sorry I sat on my horn at you this morning. I am sorry that I stopped the car and put my head out the window and yelled at you for moving like a float and not paying attention to the driver's on the road who are trying to get to work. You see, I did this for your own good. I was merely trying to teach you a lesson. Take this letter as a lesson of life. When you cross the street randomly, it scares the drivers on that road. For one, he has to stand on his brakes in fear of turning you into a bird; which if you were struck at the speed I was going, might have sent you to the hospital, or the burial ground, which then in turn would send my ass to jail or they would suspend my license and get fined and go to jail eventually.

Do you know what happens when I suddenly brake? When I brake, the other cars behind me have to brake. Imagine if the driver in the car behind me wasn't paying attention. Say he/she were changing the CD or the radio station. Say if the child in that car yelled out for mommy and daddy cause the baby smelled bad and did poo-pi in her/his pants. Do you know what happens to that car and that poo-pi'd baby? They end up in my back seat through the rear window. Can you live with that? Jeopardizing our lives because you couldn't wait for me to drive pass; because you couldn't wait for the light to turn red or even wait till the walking man flashes; because you couldn't cross at a normal cross path. Because of you, potentially three people could have been sent to the hospital this morning, or worse, could have been killed.

Also, because of you, I wasted so much gas in order to have my vehicle stop in time so I wouldn't run your pathetic McDonald billboard ass over; you walking speed bump. Do you even know how much gas costs these days? Yest, its not as expensive as it was last summer, but still $2.59~$2.69 per gallon still makes a dent in the wallet. If you were going to cross without notice, then the least you can do is pay for a gallon of gas. Mail it to me, or send me a voucher I don't care, just don't flip me off when I saved your life because your brain couldn't function with all that Soul Glow you decided to shower with.

So you see, don't take my yelling to the heart. I was merely telling you that I was paying attention. If it were any other driver, he/she would have ran you over in a heartbeat. And especially these days with all these senior citizens playing Grand Theft Auto - Bean Town Rumble style...you might be kissing the cement right now. So next time, don't cross without looking both ways. Try to be a good role model. Try to value your life more.

~Yours Truly
The Man who saved your life.

The Routine

Does it feel like you're doing the same things over and over again? Seems like life has become a regular TV show, same time same theme like clockwork. 6:50 wake up, 8 am work, 11pm sleep. Throw in some food, shits, showers, halo and call it life or the routine. Don't get me wrong, I love my job and am very thankful that my routine doesn't include job searching, struggling to put food on the table and such...I am very thankful that I can put food on the table, pay bills, and keep a steady income. But besides all that, put aside the thankfulness and doesn't it feel mundane? Is this what we were called to do? Is this why we were put on earth? Is this why we were born? To work and make money to have expensive health insurance to insure our mundane and routine life? Haven't you once thought that life is suppose to be a lot more than the "routine"? Isn't there a greater meaning to life other than paying bills and making money to pay more bills? I feel many of us...not all, but a good amount of us hold jobs so we can keep up the bills or to have money, or to be "loaded" as today's generation would say.

Next time you're at work, class, jogging, yoga, Starbucks for the rich or even at Dunkin for me and you or anywhere, just ask someone what they consider to be the "American dream". You'll most likely hear, house in the suburbs, picket fence, two cars, two kids, steady income 9-5 job plus three/four computers. But isn't that list all material value? Material value that requires a routine...money and commitment. Why can't the "American dream" be extinguishing poverty, promoting peace, seeing third world countries living the comfort and joys we take for granted? Why does it always have to be about material value? I'm no hypocrite. I do catch myself gloating in material value. I am exceptionally proud and over protective of my things, especially the things I paid for from my own pocket. I don't know why I'm like this, I don't blame society and I sure as hell wont don't blame the media. I do however blame myself. I understand the value of money, therefore I am "anal" about such matters. It takes a lot of hours of work to get the things you keep in your humble abode, so you have every right to be over-protective of them. No one will know how many hours and hard work you put in to get the stuff you have except yourself. No one knows how many hours you've put it to have that 50" plasma up on your wall. So go ahead, be anal about your shit...its got your blood and hardwork written all over it.

Don't kid yourself, you know you wouldn't be yourself or safe without money. I started to realize it when I first starting to pay for my own things, and I'm not talking about food, and clothes. I'm talking about things that we need to survive everyday. Like rent, utilities, health insurance and such. And to possess these survival items you need to make money, and how is it that we acquire money? By being the bitch for corporate America. The system will suck you in harder than a worm hole. And you will let it happen. You will take the shit that comes with the job and say to yourself, " ill do it, ill take this shit...as long as it pays the bills." Pretty soon that will be the excuse for everything, especially in this disgusting economy. And once you have enough money where you don't have to worry, you'll have kids, and then you'll say. " ill do it, ill take this shit...its for the kids.". Maybe I'm wrong. All depends on the job I guess. But know this, one day you will be living the routine...and you will hate it. But you will still live by it. Just know that won't be the only one :) and that some of us work to have luxuries, but there's a very good amount of us who work just to put food on the table.

Material to Ponder: What does it take for someone to say, "I am living the LIFE!"? How do you get there? What do you have to do? Are you there yet? What is LIFE to you?

The Thing About Warranties

I purchased a fancy Canon SD790 IS Camera during the month of July. Many camera users have mentioned that Canon is the way to go. They are absolutely the best in their kind. This particular one fitted my desire and dreams. It would take pictures 1.4 frames per second, so I would never miss a thing. They are equipped with Color Swap/Accent feature. This features enables you to harvest a particular color while making the background and everything else black and white. It's an amazing features that keeps you busy all day and night. Also, the flash extends to about 11.5ft, so pictures in the clubs of people doing nasties can be very well captured with this feature. This particular camera is 10MP. Now, I know what you're thinking, I don't really need a 10MP camera. And yes, you're right. I do end up shrinking the photos to save space on my computer. But I bought the camera for its shutter speed, the Image Stabilization feature, and the color accent feature.

I invested in this magnificent technology that will help me remember my past very cautiously. For days and countless nights I researched whether this camera would suite my lifestyle. I was happy when I bought it; it was like Christmas again, but in the month of July. I was very hesitant though, I mean not cause of the camera, but because of the cost. Did I really need an expensive camera? Is it really worth it? YES IT IS! :). So I picked my camera up at Circuit City and headed to the counter and this is how it went:

Woman At Counter: Would you like to buy a warranty for the camera? $49.99 for three years including parts and labor. So if you drop it, wash it, or even kick it, its covered.
Me: (Hell ya, this is an awesome deal. Who knows what's gonna happen.) Yes, please add it onto my purchase.
Woman At Counter: (MUAHAHAHA, sucker got sucked into buying a warranty. Wait till something happens and we'll refuse him service.) Have a nice day!
Me: THANK YOU!!

.........Seven Months Later............

Me: "Smile...happy birthday!..."

Went to a club for a friends birthday and realized that while taking pictures with my so awesomely awesome camera, the stupid cap of the shutter button has come off. I was so pissed. I mean, it's only been seven months. But oh well, I bought a warranty so I should be fine. I'll go in Circuit City and they'll fix; it'll be like running a knife in hot butter. The next morning I walked into Circuit City and explain to the Customer Service woman what my problem was. Her response:

Customer Service Woman: I'm sorry, this looks like it was an accidental damage. You're current warranty doesnt cover accidental damage. You need the Advantage Service PLUS.
Me: Ok, so how come I wasnt offered it back when I bought the camera and how can I get it? Everything in this world is accidental damage. What exactly does the standard warranty cover?
CSW: Oh well, you see, by LAW, our state cannot give out the plan. You have to get it from the neighbouring state.
Me: (Sarcastically and after much yelling) Awesome!

I called Circuit City in New Hampshire and the woman on the phone says that I cannot upgrade it because it's been more the 45 days. So I asked what do i do now. She told me to call Canon directly becasue the one year manufacturer warranty is still valid. So I call up Canon and tell them my problem and they said to send my camera on. I shipped my camera in to Canon, which by the way cost me $12. You must get insurance and tracking on the camera. Yesterday I called them back and asked what the deal was. She said:

Canon Customer Service: Sorry, the damage on the camera is not a factory defect. To get it fixed you must pay us $129 for the cap of the button.
Me: HAHAHA You've got to be joking. I've had this camera for seven months. How else do you explain it popping off.
CCS: Sorry, I am not a technician, I dont know how it all works.
Me: Great, send my camera back. Cause I am not paying $129 for the repairs. I can buy a brand new one for that price. You guys are kidding me. Thank you.

Moral of the Story: Always ask for accidental damage coverage. Never buy from Circuit City. Standard warranty covers technical malfunctions and such. Things like this harldy ever happen.

Question to Ponder: Why should I buy something where I have to buy something just to protect my purchase? Warranty should not be called Warranty...they should be called "Just-In-Case". Did I just pay for a "Just-In-Case"?

The Forgotten Time

Where did it go? The last I remember I got back from England and was ready to start my final semester in my final year of university. I was looking forward to this semester. We were finally making our design for Capstone. I had this amazing feeling inside of me because I finally got to see what our design would physically look like. AND also I would be graduating in the spring and moving on to the real world. I knew though that before then I would have to put in crazy hours for the capstone and for my courses if I wanted to finish strong in my final year.

...fast forward >> fast forward forward >> ...

I'm sitting at my desk, writing this blog, and thinking....from the first day back from England...to today...where exactly did the time go? It's been more than two years since I got back. And now i am working at a company and making money to save up for my future. So where did all the time go? Was I that busy that I don't remember some details of the past two years? Or am I just getting old?

I can recollect some things. I remember getting caught a week after with some authorities. People who read this will know what I am talking about. That was a fun night. I remember staying at the hotel after the flood hit the apartment. And then I remember making new friends, working and studying. That is the paraphrased version of it. I don't want to go into details to tell you the truth, but you get the picture right?

So many people have gone and come in my life. Some were impressionable and some weren't. Some I care for and some I could care less. Time has changed my thinking and the way I live my life now; of course for the better. I have so much I want to do; so much to accomplish.

Does everyone get to accomplish their goals? I think people do get chances to accomplish them, but they're just hard to point out; they come in disguises. In part people make their own chances and pave the road to their goals. I think if you really want it; if you really feel you deserve it, then you can have it. You have to show yourself. And I think that is where I have changed. I deserved the best and I deserved better than what I had. I pushed boundaries to get to where I wanted to be. I fought hard, really hard because I truly believed I could get to where I want to be...where I needed to be. And I'm glad I did because I'm happy. Some days more than the other...but at the end of the day, I am happy.

Plans were altered; dreams were changed. But the gist of my life is right where I want it to be. The people who I surround myself with make me happy. I love making them laugh and seeing smiles on their faces. I am happy that I can call these people my friends, my family, and my people. I wake up with the sunshine loving me and sleep with the moonlight besides me. Happiness. I deserved it and so do you.

Question to ponder: Are you happy? Go and find it.

The Day I Knew I Would Never Forget

It seems like a lot of people would never forget this day. It's been seven years now. I figured there would be a lot of "reflection" blogs and articles about how we have changed since 9/11 and what exactly was going on and what people were doing on that day. The day went by like no other. There was the everyday cubicle meetings, adding on the remembrance of that day....remembering the day to a point where people can pin-point on minute details. Well, here is my recollection of September 11, in the year of 2001.

The day started off like the previous day, with me waking up at 6am for school. I was a Junior back then. I don't usually have breakfast only cause it upsets my stomach. Not even a glass of water can settle in the mornings. I don't know why it's like that; I should probably consult with a physician cause they say breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Mental Note - Call Doctor About Breakfast. I knew exactly what I wore. Khaki pants with a light blue button down shirt on top of a white undershirt. See, I went to a private high school, so uniforms were mandatory. It was during the first period, Religion I believe....the irony. I loved that class. The class is taught by a priest. He's not like the other priests; he's chill, down-to-earth...well...if he's a priest than he should up-to-heaven more than down-to-earth. if you get what I'm saying. He's one the many few teachers who can connect with kids and be on their level. We usually watch movies in the class and then reflect on the movies on paper and class discussions. It was the best thing for someone whose not really a morning person. I could've used an hour or more of sleep.

Half-way through class there was an announcement on the PA system. It went something along the lines of there was an attack on the United States in New York. The Hancock building has been evacuated. We were in no immediate danger but if you wish to go home than you can. Very vague but informative. During break we went upstairs to my French teachers class. Not because he gave us free food and life lessons, but because he had a TV with cable. So we turned on the news and saw the Twin Towers on fire. No one really said much, they just gazed at the TV. Some had their hands on their mouths, others had wide eyes like as if they couldn't believe this was happening. Then all of a sudden the other plane hits the other tower. Huge gasps were heard everywhere. I remember someone saying, "Oh my God!". I was waiting forJohn McClane to jump out of the tower and take these guys down barefoot. But no, today was not the day Bruce Willis would appear; even though the it felt like a Die Hard movie. It would have been nice to see him there. I think everyone would have wished John McClane was there. We could have used him that day.

I don't really want to go into major details just because its hard to talk about them sometimes. It's not like I was there; I don't think I knew anyone...who...u know. But just knowing that it happened; knowing that someone could do this without regrets is the part that disgusts me. It hurts to know that so many people lost so many loved ones. Someone , that day, lost their mother, father, brother, sister, aunt, auntie, grandmother, or even grandfather. And it hurts to know that. I don't know what I would be like. Certainly angry. I would want some kind of revenge; want my country to back me up and defend my hate for the people who had done this; to make sure these people can't do it again and to punish them. Yes, I would have done this even if there was no support.

The nation was sad as was I. Couple months into the year I started to realize that the attacks on the towers sent a huge ripple into the Hate Sea. I could feel the after-shocks at home. Hate crimes being committed every so often. Being abused just cause of my skin color. At one time, I remember going to Taco Bell after playing at our Private Tennis Club. Me, my brother, dad and sister walked in. I remember telling my dad that we should change the flag that we put on the antenna to show our support. It was ripping from the side. He agreed. My dad was the last one to walk in; just as someone yelled something at us while driving by. I turned as did my dad. My dad had a disgusted look on his face, while I had no idea what just happened. "What happen dad, what did he say? Did we leave our lights on something?". "No, don't worry, I didn't hear anything anyway." While ordering our food, a woman came up to us and said, "I want to apologize on his behalf. It was disgusting what he said. I am sorry you had to hear that." My dad smiled and said, "Thank you, but after hearing something like that, you have to learn to ignore it and move on." The woman smiled and walked back to her seat. I looked at my dad and he went back to ordering his food. At that point I realized what that other guy in the car had said. I was angry, I wanted to go out there and beat the shit out of him. I have every right as does the person next to me be in this country. I have every right to prosper and live the American Dream. Just like you do and the person next to you. This is our right that we inherit when we become citizens. So who is he to say the stuff that he said. Its shameful. I bet you this though...one day, he's gonna say the wrong thing to the wrong person and get his ass whopped. And that will be my victory. A Reminder: this country was built by Immigrants.

And today; seven years later. The country has changed. Random-brown-guy-check at every checkpoint at airports. If your name sounds funny and your brown, then be prepared to be delayed for an hour. Forget the fact that you have an US Passport. In this day and age, it doesn't mean anything. We accepted this. For the safety of the nation. But this was abused by the system. We allowed the system to treat us like children. To listen in on our conversation and to make decisions for us. This country is based on us. It is "for the people by the people of the people". Is it not?

That is my recollection of that day. We honor it by having a moment of silence every year. To let it sink in on what happened seven years ago. It instills fear in some people, knowing that it could happen again at no moments notice. Many take this time to appreciate the soldiers over seas trying to prevent the bullies from taking away our freedom. We take time to remember all the people who didn't make it home at the end of the work shift; that day the people who had one, two or even three empty chairs at their dinner tables; the children who weren't read their nightly bedtime stories; the birthday celebrations that never happened because the guest of honor couldn't be found; the people who helped rescue the few survivors; the firefighters who risked their lives and everyone else...we remember all these people as fighters; workers; heroes..but most of all...I remember these people as Citizens of Freedom.

Question to Ponder: How have you changed in the last seven years?

The Random Thoughts

I have compiled some Random Thoughts that have been floating in my head for quiet some time now...I couldn't give each of them a whole blog...so I put them all together:

+ Where is the coverage for the Summer Paralympics of 2008? How come no one has mentioned or even shown anything on the news about this? We as a country praise the less fortunate for picking themselves up and doing great things...so then how come no one has said or even mentioned on these paralympics? There's more talk about the VMA Awards than there are about the 2008 games.

+ Some people just annoy me. Not because of who they are...but because of the things they do. If you're going to someones' place for a party...if you know you're gonna drink...then chip in with the alcohol costs. Don't just show up and expect someone to hand you a cup and go all Halo on the beer. Everything costs money. Beer costs money, the cups you drink from costs money as well. So why make such a huge hissy fit when asked to dish out $5 for an ALL YOU CAN DRINK FEST?

+ People in this world think I don't know whats happening or whats going on. They'll talk shit about me and think I will never find out. Well you know, I'm a very observant guy. I can see the head gestures and the eye roll...I'm not blind. I'm pretty good at picking up things. If you have a problem with me....come and talk it out. Don't be a wuss and do it behind my back. If you're afraid of confrontation then you don't deserve to be a human. Go beat yourself up with a pillow case full of soap bars.

+ You don't think I realise you haven't paid me back in such a long time? Remember the time when I loaned you some money...ya well, it was a LOAN...not a freaking grant or scholarship for being dumb and not having a job. Next time you see me...PAY my back. Or send it to my address. Cheap ass MOFOs. I am not made of money; I don't shit money, and I sure as hell don't have a money tree in my apartment.

+ Trust...something that has been lost in the span of so many years. Once you get to know a person, you start to realise on some of the things you can trust them with. But once they talk shit about you...or if they miss-use your stuff...it gets really upsetting. It angers me that people will use SOMEONE Else's shit without asking for it. And then they don't even have the cohonez to tell you that they borrowed your shit. That's messed up. And also...if I say something to you in confidentiality...it doesn't mean to go and tell the whole world. It's a simply rule friends have between each other...DON'T spread the word if its not suppose to be and don't take my stuff without asking!

+ I HATE...absolutely HATE it when people take advantage of other people. Like..I know people who go out of their to help other people...but when it comes to return the favor....NO...they turn their backs and walk away...well u know what...Try that shit with me...and ill beat you with my metal bat. And then ill help you to the hospital.

I don't have anymore things to write. I'm watching the Cowboys game and its just way to damn good. I will update my blog again soon. I've been pretty bad about it cause work and all...but now I think I should make some time to reflect and write about random stuff. Also, this blog is NOT about anyone, these are just some thoughts I have had over my lifetime that I never had time or even thoughts about putting it up. If you're offended or if you think that I wrote about you...then I'm not going out of my way to convince you I didn't. However, if you know that this is just a blog and if you understand that I am not that type of a person to talk about people behind their backs, and that if I had a problem with someone I would go up to them in person and tell them...then good...I like you. I will allow you to be my friend :).

Ponder: To be true to yourself starts with being true to others. It depends on how they respond to the confrontation. Find a solution and you'll make a new friend. Loose the battle and you'll never have to speak to that person ever again...and you wont have to be fake. Win-Win. What do you think?

The Battle at IKEA

It was tax-free weekend. A weekend many wait for; splurging on stuff they hardly need or stuff they "might" purchase in the future, all to save 5%. Granted in the end it all adds up and money is tight with all the gas, food, and utility prices going up. We hop in the car and drive down to the nearest IKEA keeping in mind that we...well more like I, do not need to buy everything I like. However, I did need a hanging shelf to put in my room and I knew just what I needed and how to do it. I have a stereo that I bought during my crazy days of youth (4 years ago) which rests on top of my desk. So i finally decided that it had to go up on the wall just so that my other junk has enough space to breathe and grow.

On the way to the shelving section I found this rug that would go perfect in our little "Hookah lounge" we added to our apartment. That way the rug that's already there can be placed in front of the front entrance so people can wipe there shoes that bring in all the dirt and filth into our humble abode. It's a brown/beige one that will match the carpet and the futon mattress (which I consider our "hookah lounge"). I'm carrying it in my hand (pretending to be Arnold in the movie Commando) while walking towards the shelves. Then out of nowhere, this random Indian guy pops out and this is how our conversation went:

Random Indian Guy: "Is that a carpet." (...at first I was gonna say "No, it is my bazooka bitch"...but that's just mean...)

ME: "Oh, it's a rug."(...thinking to myself, OK conversation over...time to move on to my shelves...leave me alone and let me think...)

Random Indian Guy: "What kind is it?" (...out of nowhere his wife and his offspring show up...and now i feel like I'm being bullied and being ganged up by his family and his 2 year old Ninja with his Spice Queen. Aside from being afraid...I was also confused by his question...how does one describe a rug. I looked at the rug and thought to myself, how would a rug describe itself...even more...how does a rug know what KIND it is...its like asking the rug to classify itself...like the race question...please check here if you're rectangle, circle, or square...or Other...what kind of a dumb question is that? Can you imagine a rug introducing him/herself..."Hi, I'm Rug Carpet...I hail from the kingdom Persia...I like to be the center of attention and I don't mind being walked on...just don't trim by hair that stick out from the sides of my square body...oh and also...I love given hickeys, more like burn marks, when people rub up against me"...)

ME: "It's a regular one...you can find it in the rug section" (...hoping to send him on his way, like a lost traveller asking for directions...a dumb question can only be greeted by a dumb answer...so now I'm looking for help...where are my fellow people...one is completely ignoring my looks, pretended to not know me, even though she was right there and had this huge grin on her face and the other comrade bolted like Usmain Bolt running the 200m cause he knew what this guy's intentions were...only cause he has personal experience with this kind of stuff...)

RIG: "Oh so are you from India" (...You've got to be kidding me...how does that even relate to the rug...now I'm stuck in this quick sand while someone was pouring cement...cant get out...what do i do...)

ME: "No, I'm from around here" (...Technically I didn't lie to this man...I am from the states...born and raised...but I knew what he meant...I just didn't want to tell him...which ill tell you why towards the end of this blog...)

RIG: "But you look Indian, your parents must be from India" (...This guy is asking for a beating now...who does he think he is...Miss Cleo?...)

ME: "Well ya, my parents are but I'm from here" (...i caved :(...)

RIG: "Oh they must be from Gujarat" (...this guy thinks he's psychic...)

ME: "Nope" (...clearly they ARE...and so AM I...but I could not let him know...otherwise I would have been there FOREVER...so I had to find an exit strategy...because my other two comrades weren't gonna help me...they were too busy having fun with this...watching me struggle talking to this guy...)

RIG: "Oh then are you from the North, South?" (...I know...he just wont give up...if I said North or the South then he would have busted out the language from that area...I barely know Gujarati properly...forget about talking in Tamil, Marathi, or Malyalum or whatever the language he would have busted out with...)

ME: "Ummm....ya...I'm from the northern westerly side of India...more like towards the middle westerly side....ummm...yaaa" (...I know I know I know...the "westerly" side of India IS Gujarat...I know...)

RIG: "So you ARE from Gujarat" (...thinking like he won a bet or something...)

ME: "Ya I guess so..."(...then all of a sudden his kid started crying...hahaha wohoo....thank you ninja kid...you saved me...your papa almost killed with his psychic powers...interrogating me like BATMAN...but in the end I WON...I WON the battle...well technically I lost...but still...home free...now I walk away and grab my phone from my pocket pretending to talk to someone about something....play over...the END!...)

So now you're wondering why didn't I just answer him truthfully in the first place. Well, it's cause if you tell them everything and answer there questions, then they'll ask for your number...and then you have to give them that as well cause that's just how it goes. Im weak...sorry. And then once they have your number...they keep calling you about business opportunities that they would like to get into and wonder if I would like to help financially and also cause im a US citizen. They do this...yes they do...if you dont believe me...just spend a day at the Cambridge Side Galleria Mall...spend about an hour...and you'll be approached by Krishna...the dude that works the mall area. I didn't know this guy made a business out of it...maybe this IKEA guy was Krishna's recruit. But I swear..it has happened to me before...and believe it or not...I made the mistake of giving my number...(about two years ago)...and the dude STILL calls me to this day. True Story.
